Student of the soul
Learning how to be a threshold person
There are people, places, ways and times when the ordinary world seems to thin.
Between waking and dreaming, life and death, seen and unseen.
I’m drawn to those thresholds, and the transformations that can take place within us there, where two worlds meet and we can learn how to belong to both.
Conversation as a threshold
Some questions aren’t meant to be answered by a single point of view. A conversation can be a threshold of its own - a place where we discover what happens when we braid our visions with other wise ones.
I’m interested in connecting with others who are exploring:
consciousness and psyche, head and heart
spiritual healing and development
grief, death and meaning-making
non-ordinary states and models of psychedelic care
ancestral wisdom and long term apprenticeship
Ways to get engaged
-
Workshops, circles, retreats and opportunities to explore meaningful questions together, at the threshold.
-
Projects that emerge when people from complementary disciplines bridge their skills and visions.
-
Thoughtful dialogue and fireside chats with people doing interesting work focused on the wellness of the soul and healing of our humanity.
My Path
I’m most interested in occupying questions that don’t have easy answers.
Questions about consciousness, spirituality, death, grief, the nature of healing, and what it means to live a meaningful life. These inquiries seem to change us by their very asking.
I have been actively studying and sitting with ancient wisdom traditions for over 13 years as a long term student of the soul. My Celtic ancestry guides me back to learning how to be a threshold person, a bridge-bearer, a two-worlds person.
I am currently focused on group facilitation, end-of-life, grief & bereavement, staff wellness for healthcare providers, and supporting those with long-term effects of trauma (C-PTSD / PTSD, moral injury, depression and anxiety).
Let’s start a conversation
I’m interested in connecting with people who are exploring meaningful questions at the intersection of consciousness, spirituality, care and transformation.
